We’re in the final stretch, with only 5 days left to re-elect Democratic Supervisor Terra Lawson-Remer, a progressive leader facing off against Trump Republican and former San Diego mayor Kevin Faulconer. Faulconer is misleading voters with false claims about Terra’s record and attempting to align himself with Kamala Harris, despite having no endorsement. If Faulconer is elected, we will lose our Democratic majority on the board of supervisors. We can’t afford to lose the historic progress we made in 2020 when we turned the Board of Supervisors blue.
Currently, more Republicans and Independents than Democrats have returned their ballots in Terra’s district. A majority of Terra’s supporters still need to return their ballots! Terra’s campaign is making steady progress, but she’s struggling to find volunteers for her get-out-the-vote events. The San Diego County Democratic Party and I are asking you to join us on Monday at her in-person or virtual phone bank and invite your friends. These final five days are our last chance to fight back and keep San Diego blue. Sign up and spread the word widely!
