Housing Discussion Panel Resources
Thank you for joining us yesterday for an engaging and lively panel discussion on housing issues in San Diego, focusing on the impacts of SB9 and the challenges of housing affordability in our community. Thank you to Christine Smith and Geoff Hueter from Neighbors for a Better San Diego, Frank Gormlie from OB RAG, and Mandy Havlik, 1st Vice Chair of the Peninsula Community Planning Board for participating in our housing panel. We appreciate the conversation about the state and local housing initiatives shaping the future of our neighborhoods. Here are the presentation slides from Neighbors for a Better San Diego.
Cabrillo National Monument - Bayside Trail Group Hike with San Diego County Democrats for Environmental Action
We are cohosting a group hike with San Diego County Democrats for Environmental Action this Sunday, February 2. We will meet up at Cabrillo National Monument where we will hike the Bayside Trail and picnic afterward. We will meet near the visitor center at 10:00 a.m.
Parking is $20 so please arrange to carpool.
Please avoid or minimize any plastics or throwaways.
No specific picnic areas are designated, so it's suggested to bring your own chairs and we'll have some folding tables to set up.
The Bayside Trail is a 2.3-mile out-and-back trail rated as easy, and dogs are not permitted on this trail.
This will be a fun outdoor activity for us to get our steps and to get to know our fellow Democrats from other clubs. We hope to see you there!
