Weighing the Options
Kohta Zaiser of Mayor Todd Gloria's office detailed the damage to OB Pier and possible future options that include ongoing repairs to the structure that could extend the life of the pier by 10 years or full-scale replacement. He also mentioned that the City has access to $8.4M from the State for the OB Pier project. Reach out to Kohta with questions or to get involved with community oversight of future repair/replacement projects at ZaiserK@sandiego.gov.
