Point Loma & OB Dems Summer Party is canceled for Sunday August 20th.
Prepare for tropical storm or hurricane — and get together at other events next weekend
We want everyone to stay safe — and we’ve canceled our Summer Party that was scheduled for Sunday afternoon, August 20th.
For everyone who’d already RSVP’d and paid online — we have credited your payment back to your credit/debit card.
Now is the time to prepare for #Hilary. Be aware of the potential hazards the storm will create when it arrives in #SanDiegoCounty this weekend. Expect torrential rain, damaging winds, flooding and more. Driving conditions will be dangerous. Stay home. Review your safety plan and stock up on supplies.
Charge devices. Ensure flashlights have batteries. Store loose items outside. If subject to flooding, use sandbags to direct water away from your home. Download SD Emergency app & register for Alert San Diego.

Future plans for a summer get together have to be determined, but we encourage you to consider these two great events next weekend.
