April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Discussion with Lori Saldaña addressing issues and resources.

At this month’s meeting, we will hear from our fellow club member Lori Saldaña. She will discuss the various issues and resources available for those who need them. You can learn more about Sexual Assault Awareness Month and ways to support here.

DesBorder World Design Capitol 2024 Community Clean-up in Ocean Beach on July 5th

Join us in tackling our coastal waterways pollution while giving back to the community!

Leading up to July 5th DesBorder will encourage our youth groups and schools to participate in art-making and educational activities promoting environmental awareness. 

A sculpture in the shape of a whale (want a chance to name the whale?) and created from repurposed materials, will be at the heart of the first cleanup in OB and will be the start of our whale’s migration to neighboring coastal community cleanup events throughout the year. DesBorder brings communities together to tackle our waterway pollution. The Roosevelt Dinner is May 31

The Event will be held on May 31st at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, 1 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101. The reception begins at 5:30 pm with program starting at 6:30 pm.

Club/Go team member tickets $155 through April 30, $175 thereafter.

Nonmembers may purchase general admission now at $175. Chicken or vegan dinner is included. Specify your club's name so we can be seated together. Tickets are available for purchase online here.

Important Club Parking Update

Parking: Please don’t park at the former SDCCU lot across the street. The credit union is no longer there, and a new company has taken over the property. They request that we do not park there.

2024 Membership Renewal Reminder

If you have not already renewed your membership, please do so now.  All memberships were DUE IN JANUARY. If you did not renew by January 31, you lose your club voting privileges until you renew your membership.

Please reach out to your friends and invite them to attend a future meeting. We currently have 75 members in our club. This would be a great way to build our club membership.
