Jan 13 – Party Chair Candidate Discussion
We hope you enjoyed some quality downtime over the holidays and are fully revived – ready to roll for what promises to be an exciting political year!
We’ve had to change the dates of our first meetings of the year at the Point Loma Assembly due to circumstances beyond our control.
This Sunday, January 13th, 4pm (after the ADEM elections) meet the Candidates for Chair of the San Diego County Democratic Party, Craig Roberts and Will Rodriguez-Kennedy!

The San Diego County Democratic Party is the official organization for Democrats in the fifth-largest county in the U.S. With more than 500,000 members, our local party represents the second-largest community of Democrats in California. As the local embodiment of “America’s Majority Party” for voters and candidates alike, it advances our goals through voter registration, candidate support, precinct organization, and support with fundraising and infrastructure.
Will and Craig are both running for Party Chair. Come find out more about our local party, what it does, and their respective visions for its future!
Our February meeting is on Sunday, February 3rd, 4pm (at which we’ll elect new officers for 2019)
ADEM Elections
The Assembly District Election Meetings (ADEMS) are held every two years to elect 7 “self-identified female” and 7 “other than self-identified female” to be Assembly District Delegates (ADDs) to represent the Assembly District they are registered as a Democrat in.
AD Delegates are elected this January, by you! Several Point Loma Democratic Club members are running in their Districts (check all candidates here) and would welcome your support. It’s a lot of fun, and you can bring your friends. You have to be a registered Democrat to vote, but your friends can change their registration on the day at the event.
