Correction - Seeking San Diego Democratic Central Committee Candidates
Would you be interested in running for the San Diego County Democratic Party Central Committee? Central Committee leaders vote on the candidate and ballot measure endorsements of the Democratic Party, and by having more of your grassroots organizing team elected to the central committee, your community will have greater representation in the party.
Members of our countywide Democratic Central Committee, the governing body of the San Diego County Democratic Party will be elected in the March presidential primary public ballot elections.
You can pick up your nomination papers from the registrar of voters and start collecting signature for your central committee run NOW. (All other offices will have to wait until Nov 13th, but they are making an exception for central committee).
The registrar of voters is located in Kearny Mesa at 5600 Overland Avenue, San Diego, CA, 92123. They are open from 8am to 5pm. When you arrive, you will go upstairs to campaign services in order to get your nomination forms. The nomination period, when you can file to run with the San Diego County Registrar of Voters, begins NOW and ends on December 8th.
