August 23: Annual Club Summer Party at Point Loma Assembly on Talbot Street
RSVPs needed by Wed. Aug. 20 to reserve your space for this year's event at the Point Loma Assembly, from 3:30-5:30PM.
You’re invited to our Club’s Summer Party!
Please join us at our Annual Summer Party on Sunday August 23, starting at 3:30PM. This year will be inside the air-conditioned Point Loma Assembly, where food, refreshments (including beer & wine) and friends will all be available for members and their guests to enjoy.
Please RSVP by Wednesday Aug. 20, to help with food/drink planning, and then join us to socialize with fellow club members, hear from elected officials, and learn what candidates have planned as we approach the November election.
The club will furnish food from Jensen’s, plus two drink tickets per person for wine or beer. We ask for a minimum donation of $20 to cover costs of this event.
RSVP today, then come enjoy the summer with fellow Democrats as we prepare for the election. (And please share this invitation with peninsula friends and neighbors who may be interested in joining the club, as well as members of other clubs.)
Note: no dogs allowed in the venue.
Thanks for supporting the Western Service Workers Association School Supplies drive!
At our July meeting, members generously donated school supplies for WSWA to distribute to families. Now, they need donations to pay for repairs at their offices.
On August 23, WSWA volunteers will be helping prepare the Assembly for our party.
